Qualifications

: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

- 1 yr to 5 yr

Key Responsibilities:

Estimate costs for sheet metal components produced through press shop operations

(blanking, piercing, forming, deep drawing, etc.) and fabrication

processes (

laser cutting, bending, welding, etc.

). Prepare

product cost sheets

for existing and new parts (BOM-based costing). Coordinate with

engineering, purchase, and production

teams for updated cost inputs (material, labor, overheads). Conduct

variance analysis

between standard vs. actual cost and report reasons. Maintain and update

costing databases

, including raw material prices and conversion cost trends. Support in

product pricing

for RFQs (Request for Quotation) and commercial negotiations.
