Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Costing / Estimation Engineer

with strong exposure to

fabrication and manufacturing processes

. The candidate will be responsible for

accurate product-wise costing, BOM preparation, raw material price analysis, and client quotations

based on mechanical drawings and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

accurate product costing and estimates

based on drawings, BOM, and manufacturing processes. Maintain

up-to-date knowledge of current market prices

of raw materials such as

MS, SS, Aluminium, Bronze

, etc. Create and validate

BOM (Bill of Materials)

using mechanical drawings and product specifications. Independently

quote prices to clients

based on cost analysis and management guidelines. Understand and evaluate

fabrication and production processes

including cutting, bending, welding, machining, grinding, finishing, powder coating, painting, and dispatch. Coordinate with

production, purchase, and store teams

to ensure cost accuracy. Handle

shop-floor costing validation

and support production planning. Visit clients when required and support

new business development

.

Technical & Skill Requirements

Strong knowledge of

Mechanical Drawing Reading

(AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Excellent understanding of

BOM Creation

and cost breakup. Sound knowledge of

raw materials, metallurgy, and metal grades

(MS, SS, Aluminium, Bronze). Understanding of

machining, fabrication, and production processes

. Hands-on experience with

measuring instruments

: Vernier Caliper Micrometer Height Gauge Bore Gauge Ability to handle

production teams and shop-floor coordination

.

Industry Exposure (Preferred)

Cement Plants Sugar Mills Gypsum Plants FMCG Mechanical & Packaging Plant Spare Parts

Qualification

Any Mechanical background

(BE / B.Tech / M.Tech - Mechanical)

Experience

Minimum

2+ years

Salary

?40,000 to ?60,000 per month

(Final salary will depend on experience, skills, and interview performance)
