Position Overview:

We are looking for a

Costing Engineer

with a strong background in mechanical manufacturing, BOM (Bill of Material) creation, and drawing interpretation. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of raw materials (MS, SS, Aluminum), consumables, machining, and fabrication processes, along with excellent costing and vendor identification capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

as per mechanical drawings. Create and review

new product drawings

using

AutoCAD

or similar design software. Analyze and interpret

mechanical drawings

for accurate material and process costing. Estimate

manufacturing costs

, including

raw materials, consumables, machining, and fabrication

. Evaluate

raw material market rates

and maintain updated costing sheets for MS, SS, and Aluminum sheets. Coordinate with

production and purchase departments

for cost feasibility and vendor sourcing. Conduct

product approval and verification

based on drawing and technical specifications. Support

new product development (NPD)

through cost analysis and material selection. Identify and develop

vendors/sub-contractors

for machining, fabrication, and raw material procurement. Prepare

comparative costing reports

and support management in pricing and quotation decisions. Apply

metallurgical knowledge

to select appropriate materials for manufacturing processes. Provide

technical support

on shop floor operations and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent knowledge of

AutoCAD

or similar CAD software (mandatory). Strong understanding of

manufacturing processes

and

shop floor operations

. Good knowledge of

Metallurgy

,

MS/SS/Aluminum Sheets

, and

consumables

. Proficient in

cost estimation, BOM preparation, and vendor management

. Strong analytical, documentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.Tech / M.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering

or related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Age between

30 to 45 years

. Minimum

2+ years

experience in a

manufacturing or fabrication setup

. Candidates residing

within 20 km radius of Ghaziabad

preferred. Immediate joiners will be given priority.
