Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing product costs, preparing cost estimates, and supporting pricing decisions to ensure profitability in manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates for new and existing products. Analyze material, labor and overhead costs to determine accurate product costing. Coordinate with production, purchase and design teams for cost data. Maintain cost sheets, BOM (Bill of Materials) and pricing records. Monitor cost variance and support cost reduction initiatives. Evaluate supplier quotations and support purchase cost improvement. Assist in budgeting and financial planning for manufacturing projects. Generate costing reports and present findings to management.

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material costs

Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP systems

Analytical and numerical skills

Knowledge of BOM, routing and cost accounting concepts

Good coordination and communication skills
