Prepare cost estimates for electrical panels, including materials, components, design, and labor costs.
Develop and maintain
Bills of Materials (BOM)
covering items such as MCCBs, relays, contactors, wires, enclosures, bus bars, and other panel components.
Design & Specification Analysis:
Study and interpret panel design drawings and customer technical specifications.
Align cost calculations with technical and engineering requirements.
Vendor & Market Rate Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and compare prices from component suppliers and vendors.
Identify cost-effective and reliable sourcing options.
Quotation Preparation:
Prepare detailed panel quotations for the Sales/Business Development team, including cost and profit margins.
Support pricing decisions to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Coordination with Production & Procurement:
Coordinate with the manufacturing team to understand production processes, labor hours, and timelines.
Work closely with the procurement team for cost control and vendor negotiations.
