Job Summary

The

Costing and Estimation Engineer

will be responsible for preparing

competitive and accurate cost estimates

for electrical panels such as

LT/HT panels, MCC, PCC, APFC, and control panels

. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with sales, design, and procurement teams to deliver precise quotations and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

cost estimates and quotations

for electrical panels and switchgear projects. Analyze

technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements

to determine project scope. Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for accurate costing inputs. Evaluate material requirements, vendor quotations, and labour costs. Ensure estimates are

competitive, accurate, and aligned with industry standards

. Support the sales team with technical and commercial proposals. Maintain costing databases, vendor price lists, and estimation records. Participate in tender preparation and submission. Provide inputs for cost optimization and value engineering. Prepare MIS reports and present costing analysis to management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of

electrical panels (LT/HT, MCC, PCC, APFC, control panels)

. Hands?on experience in

costing, estimation, and tendering processes

. Proficiency in

MS Office, ERP systems, and AutoCAD (preferred)

. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
