Job Description

To provide professional quantity surveying and cost management services from the inception of the project till the completion stages. The QS role has three facets namely Pre Tender Stage, Construction Stage and Project completion stage. To provide professional cost control, optimal design-cost study solution through value management, value engineering & measurement of quantities Compilation of preambles and bills of quantities, schedule of rates, support tendering management process Documentation and cost control, follow-up and management of information required for the Projects To prepare final account with continuous and accurate advice in respect to the overall cost of the project as the design is developed and the works are procured, constructed and commissioned. Candidates should be proficient in QS works in all areas such as Civil works for Buildings, Factories & Infrastructure works, External Development works such as Roads, Drains etc and Services such as MEP, HVAC etc. Bill checking using relevant IS Codes and and maintain all documents as required. Carry out Rate Analysis of Non Tender items and review and recommend rates for the consideration of the management. Certification of Contractor payment and maintain all records pertaining to Bank Guarantees, Retention Amount, Hold amounts, Debit amounts etc. Prepare periodic cost audit reports and Project Closure Report. Knowledge of Quantity Surveying Software for Cost Plan preparation and quantity off-take from BIM shall be an added advantage.
