Job Title: Cost Auditor

Location: Surat (Vesu)

Experience: 3+ years (preferred)

Qualification: CMA

Salary: As per interview & experience

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct statutory cost audits in line with the Companies Act and Cost Accounting Standards.

Review cost records, cost statements, and verify compliance documentation.

Analyse cost sheets, material & labour usage, overhead allocation, and process efficiencies.

Evaluate production, procurement, and inventory processes to identify variances and gaps.

Validate ERP cost postings and ensure accurate cost data flow.

Prepare detailed cost audit reports with findings and recommendations.

Coordinate with internal departments to gather data, resolve queries, and ensure audit readiness.

Provide insights on cost trends, cost control, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

CMA qualified (mandatory).

3+ years of experience in cost auditing or cost accounting.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Good understanding of cost accounting principles and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
