We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Cost Analyst

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis of all elements of product costing and proposing effective cost control and pricing strategies to maximize margins. This role involves close collaboration with both management and production teams to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of lean production strategies and demonstrate a proactive approach to minimizing resource wastage and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed analysis of product costs including materials, labor, and overheads. Develop pricing strategies that align with business goals and maximize profit margins. Collaborate with management and production teams to initiate and lead cost optimization projects. Implement lean manufacturing techniques and drive resource efficiency throughout the production cycle. Provide regular reports and insights on cost trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost planning. Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and impactful manner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

CMA (ICWAI) Qualified or Inter (Semi-Qualified) High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis, cost management, and financial modeling. Strong quantitative aptitude and reasoning abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Working knowledge of Tally is an added advantage. Experience or training in Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desire

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's or professional certification (CMA, CPA) is a plus.
