Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

Cost Accountant

to join our Finance team. The role involves planning, analyzing, and controlling costs to support decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and improve profitability. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost control, variance analysis, budgeting, and preparation of management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze cost reports, costing sheets, and variance analysis. Develop, maintain, and monitor standard costing systems and processes. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities. Evaluate product costing, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation. Monitor cost records, expenses, and profitability by product, department, or project. Support management with cost-benefit analysis for new projects, tenders, and investments. Conduct periodic audits of costing processes and recommend improvements. Coordinate with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure cost efficiency. Prepare MIS reports, financial models, and presentations for management review. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com). Professional qualification preferred:

CMA / ICWA / CA (Inter)

. 2-5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or management accounting (depending on seniority of role). Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards, budgeting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally) and MS Excel. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
