Profile- Cost Accountant

Professional Qualification: CMA / ICWA

Location: 39/2, Bhilgaon, Kamptee Road, Dist, Post, Khairy, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440026

Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience: Minimum 03 years

CTC (Max): ?7 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

Costing & Analysis

Maintain standard cost models and update BOMs/routings.

Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify variances.

Conduct cost audits and highlight cost-saving opportunities.

Support costing for new products and process changes.

Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, and finished goods costing.

Financial Reporting

Prepare weekly/monthly cost reports and dashboards.

Support month-end closing for costing and inventory.

Maintain accurate cost records in ERP systems.

Perform reconciliation of cost accounts and variance analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist with annual budgets and cost forecasts.

Coordinate with operations/procurement to review cost drivers.

Support cost-control initiatives and performance metrics.

Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies.

Provide documentation for internal/external audits.

Improve and maintain cost-control systems and procedures.
