Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Cost Accountant

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, analyzing, and controlling cost data to support management in strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in cost and management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and analyzing cost reports and costing data. Maintain cost accounting systems and ensure accurate cost allocation. Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Monitor inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS). Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Collaborate with production and operations departments to ensure accuracy in costing data. Assist in cost audits and internal financial reviews. Contribute to the implementation of cost-saving measures and operational efficiency improvements. Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field. CMA (Inter) or pursuing CMA/CA will be an added advantage. 0-2 years of experience in cost or management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup. Strong understanding of accounting principles and costing techniques. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
