Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and customer-oriented Cosmetology Counselor to guide clients through skin, hair, and aesthetic treatment options. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of dermatology & cosmetology procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert consultations into successful treatments. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, patient handling, and sales counseling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Counseling Conduct detailed consultations by analyzing client skin/hair concerns and recommending suitable treatments. Explain treatment plans, expected results, precautions, and post-care clearly. Suggest customized skincare regimens based on client needs. Provide professional guidance on dermatology & cosmetology treatments such as peels, lasers, facials, anti-aging procedures, pigmentation treatments, etc.

Treatment Conversion & Sales

Educate clients about available packages and promote clinic services. Achieve monthly consultation-to-treatment conversion targets. Follow up with prospective clients and track appointment schedules. Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits.

Clinical Coordination

Coordinate with dermatologists, technicians, and clinic staff to schedule treatments efficiently. Ensure all client records, treatment notes, and consent forms are accurately maintained. Monitor client satisfaction and handle customer queries or concerns professionally.

Operational Excellence

Maintain and update treatment knowledge through continuous training. Stay updated with new skincare trends, products, and technologies. Ensure a clean, professional, and welcoming environment in the counseling area.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / Certification in Cosmetology, Aesthetics, or Dermatology assistance (mandatory). Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Cosmetology or Aesthetic Counselor in a skin clinic, cosmetology center, or wellness center. Strong understanding of skin treatments, lasers, peels, and aesthetic procedures. Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills. Ability to build trust and maintain professional rapport with clients. Confident personality with strong presentation and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of clinic software or CRM is an advantage.
