Testing & Analysis:

Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, packaging, bulk, and finished products using instruments like HPLC, FTIR, pH meters, etc..

In-Process Checks:

Monitor quality during filling, packing, and production stages to ensure adherence to standards.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), quality logs, and batch records.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO standards (like ISO 22716), and cosmetic regulations.

Material Verification:

Check incoming raw materials and packaging components against specifications.

Lab Management:

Maintain cleanliness, calibrate equipment, and manage lab supplies.
Key Activities

Product Evaluation:

Assess appearance, fragrance, and stability.

Issue Resolution:

Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues.

Audits:

Assist with internal and external quality audits.

Product Trials:

Support batch validation and product trials.

Data Management:

Record, review, and report QC data, identifying trends.
Essential Skills & Knowledge

Cosmetic chemistry, GMP, ISO. Wet chemistry techniques, HPLC, UV/Vis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Knowledge of global cosmetic regulations (beneficial)
