Summary:

Aerospace Media Group is seeking a

detail-oriented correspondent

with strong editorial discipline and a passion for aviation, aerospace, defence, and space industries. The role requires producing

accurate, timely, and insightful journalism

for a professional, global audience across digital and print platforms.

This position demands strong research capability, the ability to work under newsroom deadlines, and comfort in covering both breaking news and in-depth industry stories.

Core-Responsibilities:

Report, research, and write high-quality news stories, features, and interviews related to aviation, aerospace, defence, and space sectors Track industry developments including airlines, airports, OEMs, defence programs, space missions, and regulatory bodies Conduct interviews with industry executives, policymakers, and subject-matter experts Attend and cover industry events, air shows, conferences, and press briefings (domestic & international) Ensure factual accuracy, source verification, and adherence to editorial and ethical standards Work closely with editors, design, and digital teams to align content with publication goals Deliver clean, publication-ready copy within strict deadlines Support content distribution across digital platforms with basic SEO awareness

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline 2-5 years of experience in journalism, business news, or trade media Excellent command of written and spoken English Strong news sense, research skills, and editorial judgment Ability to understand and clearly explain complex technical or policy-driven topics Comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom environment

Preferred Competencies

Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, defence, or infrastructure reporting Familiarity with global aviation policies, defence procurement, or space programs Experience with digital CMS platforms workflows Understanding of SEO-driven content practices and analytics
