Job Description

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and deliver effective training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees across all departments, ensuring alignment with organisational goals in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess training needs by collaborating with department heads and analysing skill gaps across departments (Sales, Marketing, Production, Operations, HR, Finance, Warehouse, Distribution, etc.). Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training modules tailored to FMCG operations, regulatory requirements, product knowledge, sales techniques, supply chain processes, and organisational culture. Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions (classroom, on-the-job, virtual, and blended learning) for all levels of employees - from workers to senior management. Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, on-the-job performance, and recommend improvements. Develop and maintain a robust training calendar ensuring periodic and need-based training coverage. Build strong rapport with trainees to ensure active participation, motivation, and behavioural change post-training. Prepare training materials, manuals, and visual aids aligned with FMCG industry standards and company objectives. Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements related to employee capability building. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, assessments, and progress for audits and management review. Drive induction programs for new joiners to ensure seamless onboarding and cultural integration. Continuously upgrade self on latest FMCG industry trends, training techniques, and learning technologies to enhance training delivery. Support HR and management in performance improvement initiatives, employee engagement, and change management processes.
