Corporate Security & Brand Protection Lead, South Asia & AGL

Hyderabad, India

Role purpose
  • Partner with the Territory and Country Functions Leadership Teams in territories (Commercial, SPSC R&D, Supply chain, Legal) to implement Assets, People, Product, Information & Crisis Management (APPIC) security programs including securing the required resources to ensure an appropriate level of security for all functions/Products across their Territory.
  • Gathering intelligence on Illicit production in India: Engage with the India, Legal, Procurement, Regulatory, Marketing & Sales and Public & Industry Affairs teams to collect intelligence about producers of CP & Seeds.
  • Work closely with the Regional Corporate Security& Brand Protection Leader to investigate leads in India/AGL generated as part of global intelligence gathering efforts.
  • Oversee investigations into potential breaches of Corteva intellectual property rights identified in the market, such as ?fake? (replica) Corteva products, unauthorized sale of formulations that include proprietary Corteva active ingredients (either labelled or unlabeled/hidden in the product for sale): Work with the field force to coordinate investigations, sample collection and follow up activities.
  • Consult with field force, legal and local authorities to instigate enforcement actions by local authorities, in line with pre-agreed criteria for such actions.
  • Coordinate collection of more detailed intelligence in line with direction of agreed enforcement strategy
  • Advocacy in relation to Brand Protection Work with Director, Public & Industry Affairs on advocacy strategies that encourage national and state governments to take proper action against actors producing, distributing, or selling infringing product.
  • Co-represent Corteva in the CropLife India Stewardship & Anti-Counterfeiting Committee.
  • Internal reporting and communications, prepare reports on results of intelligence gathering activities, at a regular frequency, to ensure relevant functions are informed of developments
Accountabilities
  • Operational responsibility
  • Work/Link closely with the Regional Security Manager to implement APPIC security programs at all countries/sites within the Territory
  • Lead security risk assessments (SRA) and End to End CP & Seed Security in the Territory
  • Observe and assess the security situation in the Territory and establish an initiative-taking reporting process to inform Regional Security Managers of any emerging security threats
  • Establish, supported by Corporate Security, an effective incident report management process
  • Lead responses to incidents as they arise and related investigations in close collaboration with the Regional Security Manager
  • Provide security advice and support for high-level events/ Infringements in the Territory.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain an external stakeholder (law enforcement, security colleagues, agribusiness peers and association) strategy in collaboration with the Regional Security Manager
  • Function as the Territory Lead in the Security Mindset Change Program
Additional Responsibilities
  • Influence the territory organization through initiative-taking use of impactful risk-based-intelligence-led security communication to increase security performance
  • Leverage existing resources (i.e.: HSE) to ensure security sustainability
  • Drive major security change and improvement in Territory by providing strategic Product security direction
  • Demonstrate, document, and provide assurance to stakeholders that the Territory has an effective security framework
  • Address security risks arising at Territory and Country level
  • Manage projects and deliver on time with high stakeholder satisfaction

Qualifications


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business / Engineering
  • 5-8 Years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to organize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all levels of management
  • Excellent communication skills
