Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales o Identify and develop new corporate clients across industries such as manufacturing, IT, logistics, healthcare, and infrastructure. o Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research. o Achieve assigned revenue, premium, and client acquisition targets. o Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to corporate decision-makers (CFOs, Risk Managers, HR Heads). Client Relationship Management o Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client business risks and insurance requirements. o Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to ensure renewals and cross-selling opportunities. o Conduct regular client meetings and policy reviews. Insurance Placement & Advisory o Analyze client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance solutions such as: o Fire Insurance o Property & Engineering Insurance o Liability Insurance o Marine Insurance o Group Health & Employee Benefits o Coordinate with internal teams and insurers to place policies on competitive terms. o Support negotiations on premiums, coverage terms, deductibles, and claims handling arrangements. Renewals & Cross-Selling o Manage policy renewals by ensuring timely documentation and premium collection. o Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional insurance products. Market & Insurer Coordination o Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies and underwriters. o Stay updated on market trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes. Compliance & Documentation o Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal company policies. o Maintain accurate sales records, client documentation, and MIS reports. Key Skills & Competencies o Strong corporate sales and negotiation skills o Sound knowledge of general insurance products and broking practices o Excellent communication and presentation abilities o Client-focused and solution-oriented approach o Ability to work independently and meet targets o Relationship management and networking skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) o Premium and revenue targets achieved o Number of new corporate clients acquired o Renewal retention ratio o Cross-sell and upsell contribution o Client satisfaction and relationship strength
