Job Description

The

Event Sales Manager

at FutureTech Media will drive revenue growth by selling exhibition booths, sponsorship packages, delegate passes, and awards nominations for industry-leading tech events and conferences. The role requires strong client engagement skills via calls, virtual meetings, and occasional field visits. The ideal candidate is energetic, persuasive, target-driven, and passionate about the events and technology sector.

Job Location (Hybrid): Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Gurugram



Key Responsibilities



Proactively sell exhibition spaces, sponsorships, delegate passes, and awards nominations to potential clients across sectors like technology, innovation, and automation. Identify new business opportunities through research, cold-calling, lead generation, and networking. Conduct regular calls, virtual meetings (Zoom/Google Meet), and occasional face-to-face meetings with clients to pitch opportunities and close deals. Prepare customized proposals and sponsorship decks to meet client needs. Manage end-to-end client communication from initial outreach to final confirmation and post-event follow-up. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue tracking through CRM tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Revenue from Exhibition booth sales, Sponsorship, Delegate pass, Awards nomination etc. Client retention and satisfaction scores Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets

Qualifications and Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. MBA (preferred but not mandatory). 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in conferences, exhibitions, media, or event sponsorship sales. Prior experience selling in tech, innovation, or STEM-related industries is a plus. Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to conduct engaging virtual meetings and compelling sales presentations. Comfortable with CRM systems, MS Office, and digital sales tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects.

Candidate must possess own Laptop and a Smart Phone.



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
