We are looking for an experienced corporate sales/business development professional to drive growth in the SME segment for our general insurance broking business. This role focuses on acquiring new SME clients, managing corporate relationships, and delivering customized risk and insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition in the SME segment
Identify and onboard SME clients across industries
Assess client risk profiles and recommend suitable General Insurance solutions
Coordinate with insurers for quotations, negotiations, and policy placement
Build strong relationships with business owners, CFOs, and key decision-makers
Achieve assigned premium, revenue, and client acquisition targets
Collaborate with internal servicing, underwriting, and claims teams
Maintain sales pipeline, CRM, and MIS reporting
Experience & Skill Requirements:
5-10 years of corporate sales/business development experience
Mandatory experience in General Insurance (Insurance broking/insurer)
Strong exposure to SME sales
Good understanding of GI products: Property, Marine, Liability, Engineering, Package Policies
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field sales
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Prior experience with an Insurance Broking firm
Existing SME client relationships in Mumbai
Ability to work independently and scale a profitable portfolio

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
