Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Sales Associate with a strong focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and B2B Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities from corporate clients, event agencies, and travel companies specializing in MICE. This role demands proactive client engagement, strategic sales planning, and cross-industry collaboration to grow revenue and establish long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:*Corporate & MICE Sales:
Identify, approach, and secure business from corporates for group events, incentive travel, team outings, offsites, and conferences.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, outbound sales calls, and digital channels.
Pitch customized experiences and offerings for MICE requirements, heritage experiences, cultural tours, and bespoke events.
Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions aligned with their objectives and budgets.
Event Companies & B2B Collaboration:
Forge strong working relationships with event management companies, MICE planners, and B2B travel agents*.
Create collaboration opportunities with agencies handling large-scale corporate events, destination weddings, product launches, and team-building events.
Regularly attend B2B networking events, trade shows, and industry expos to expand reach.
Sales Execution & Target Achievement:
Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
Negotiate and close sales deals ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic client acquisition and account management.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering consistent support, follow-ups, and post-event engagement.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating with operations and product teams for seamless delivery.
Maintain a CRM database with detailed client records, sales activities, and progress reports.
Market Research & Reporting:
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands in the corporate and MICE travel sector.
Provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts to the management.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in the events, travel, or hospitality industry*.
Strong network within the MICE, corporate travel, or event management ecosystem.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to close deals and work in a target-driven environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously.
Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as per client requirements.
