Job Description

The Corporate Relationship and Placement Head will lead all placement-related initiatives, drive industry tie-ups, and foster corporate engagement for student training, internships, and final placements. The role will involve coordinating with top recruiters, preparing students for job readiness, organizing industry events, and maintaining alumni and corporate relations to ensure high placement success.Key Responsibilities:1. Corporate Tie-ups & Industry Relations

• Build and maintain relationships with top companies for manpower, training, research, and consulting.

• Interact with industry managers (HR/Functional) for corporate collaboration.

• Develop innovative strategies to attract diverse industries.

2. Campus Placement Coordination

• Oversee entire placement processes including scheduling and logistics.

• Arrange summer internships, on-the-job training, and final placements.

• Coordinate with student placement teams and alumni for effective execution.

3. Student Preparation & Career Guidance

• Develop and implement placement preparation modules.

• Counsel students regularly to increase job acceptance.

• Provide guidance via individual sessions, group meetings, and emails.

4. Events & Public Relations

• Organize symposiums, conferences, and education fairs for branding and knowledge sharing.

• Conduct workshops/seminars for faculty and industry professionals.

• Handle student outreach, seminar delivery, and motivational sessions.

5. Performance Review & Feedback

• Collect feedback from companies on student performance during internships and placements.

• Use insights to refine training and placement strategies.

RequirementsQualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification (preferably in Management) from a reputed institution

• 6+ years experience in placement activities at a leading business school

• Strong corporate network, especially among senior HR/Marketing professionals

• Excellent networking, marketing, PR, and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage events and placement drives independently

• Leadership, tech-savviness, high integrity, and willingness to travel

• Knowledge of industry demographics
