Career Development & Placement Manager (with technical background)

to guide students, build strong corporate relations, and drive placement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships with corporate recruiters, HR leaders, and technical hiring managers. Organise campus placement drives, internships, and industry talks. Conduct pre-placement training: resume building, interview preparation, soft skills & aptitude. Provide

technical career guidance

to students (basic knowledge of programming, IT skills, or engineering concepts is expected). Understand industry trends, future skill requirements, and align student training accordingly. Collaborate with faculty and trainers to design

industry-relevant technical workshops

. Maintain placement records, track hiring data, and present reports to management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/Management. 3-6 years of experience in

placements, training, HR, technical recruitment, or corporate relations

. Strong understanding of IT/technical job roles (Software Developer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, etc.). Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills. Ability to mentor students and boost their employability skills.
