Boston Institute of Analytics is seeking a skilled and motivated
Corporate Litigation Lawyer
with a proven track record in handling complex civil litigation, recovery suits, defamation claims, injunctions, and contract disputes. The ideal candidate will possess strong courtroom experience, deep procedural law expertise, and the ability to provide both strategic legal advisory and hands-on litigation support across various forums including District Courts, High Courts, NCLT, and consumer forums.

Key Responsibilities
Civil Litigation & Case Management
Manage end-to-end civil litigation including recovery suits, defamation claims, contractual disputes, and related matters.
Draft and finalize all pleadings such as plaints, written statements, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, and interim relief applications.
Prepare evidence bundles and examination briefs; ensure timely procedural compliance in filings and hearings across courts.
Liaise effectively with clients, witnesses, external counsel, and relevant authorities.
Maintain and update litigation trackers, monitoring deadlines and court dates rigorously.
Legal Research & Drafting
Conduct thorough legal research on civil procedure, contract law, criminal law, and case precedents.
Draft clear and enforceable legal notices, replies, settlement agreements, and pre-litigation correspondence.
Prepare detailed legal strategy notes and risk assessments for internal stakeholders and management.
Court Representation & Alternative Dispute Resolution
Represent the organization in civil courts, High Courts, NCLT, consumer forums, and quasi-judicial bodies.
Handle recovery proceedings including execution petitions and MSMED Act claims.
Participate in arbitration, mediation, Lok Adalats, and conciliation processes to resolve disputes amicably when possible.
Internal Advisory & Risk Review
Provide legal advice to management on civil liabilities, litigation risks, and preemptive strategies.
Review contracts and marketing or press content for litigation and reputational risks.
Support internal departments (HR, Operations, Finance) on legal queries and escalations.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain updated legal dashboards, litigation trackers, and audit documentation.
Assist in responding to statutory notices, court summons, and regulatory inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills
LL.B. degree from a recognized law school; LL.M. is a strong plus.
Licensed to practice law in India (Sanad mandatory).
5-15 years of proven litigation experience, particularly in civil suits, recovery cases, defamation, and contract disputes.
Strong drafting skills and courtroom presence, comfortable independently handling cases.
Proficient with legal research platforms such as SCC Online, Manupatra, or equivalent.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with sharp attention to detail.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
High ethical standards and professionalism.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to clients in education, media, or technology sectors.
Familiarity with criminal aspects of civil matters such as bounced cheque cases (Section 138 NI Act) or IT Act violations.
Knowledge of intellectual property law, consumer protection, or arbitration proceedings is an advantage.
