Advisory and strategy

: Corporate lawyers provide guidance on whether arbitration is the best dispute resolution method for a client and help draft arbitration clauses for new contracts.

Representation

: They represent clients in the arbitration process, which involves preparing statements, gathering evidence, and arguing the case before an arbitrator or panel. This can include handling both domestic and international arbitration.

Settlement and negotiation

: Lawyers may also facilitate settlement negotiations to reach a resolution outside of a formal award.

Enforcement and interim relief

: After an award is issued, a lawyer helps enforce it through the necessary legal channels. They can also seek injunctions or interim relief from courts to protect a client's interests while the arbitration is ongoing.

Case assessment

: They conduct an initial review of contracts, arbitration clauses, and evidence to assess the strength of the case.
