We're seeking an experienced Finance Auditor to join our team in a luxury Hotel Group in Goa. The successful candidate will conduct independent evaluations of financial records and processes across India, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This role requires extensive travel to various locations in India.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Statement Review: Examine financial statements for accuracy and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) or Indian GAAP.
2. Internal Control Assessment: Assess internal control systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
3. Compliance Verification: Verify compliance with laws and regulations, such as the Companies Act, 2013, and Income Tax Act.
4. Risk Evaluation: Evaluate financial risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
5. Transaction Testing: Conduct tests on financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certification: Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), or similar.
3. Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 3 years in financial accounting, financial analysis, or business accounting.
Skills:
1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and identify areas for improvement.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and recommendations.
3. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate financial risks.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and systems, such as financial accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
