Role Summary:



As a

Corporate Finance Associate

, you will work closely with the Founder and domain experts to support clients across fundraising readiness, investor materials, deal structuring, and financial modeling. This role is instrumental in helping early-stage and growth-stage companies secure funding, streamline investor communication, and align internal structures with investment-readiness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Support



Assist clients in preparing for Seed to Series A/B rounds. Conduct industry research, competitor benchmarking, and market analysis to support investor conversations. Support outreach documentation and investor queries.

Investor Documentation & Collateral



Draft and design compelling:

Investor Pitch Decks

Teasers / One-Pagers

Financial Models (3-5 years)

Cap Tables

Deal Room folders

Review, track, and maintain data room structure for each fundraising client.

Transaction & Term Sheet Support



Assist in preparing and reviewing Term Sheets, SHA/SSA drafts, and side letters. Coordinate with legal/CS teams during share issuance, share transfers, or ESOP execution. Track compliance aspects post-investment (ROC filings, shareholder register updates, etc.).

Strategic Finance Advisory



Work with the finance team to align client MIS/reporting to investor standards. Run valuations and scenario planning (pre-money/post-money, dilution, etc.). Support due diligence documentation collation and follow-ups.

Requirements:



2-4 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or a Transaction Advisory role. Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency is a must. Familiarity with cap table management, term sheets, SHA structures. Knowledge of VC/PE fundraising ecosystem in India preferred. Ability to synthesize complex business information into investor-ready insights. Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or pitch design tools is a plus. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Good to Have:



Exposure to real estate, retail, or D2C startups. Experience working with early-stage or family-owned businesses. Understanding of SEBI/ROC compliance and startup equity structures.
