The position is responsible for providing legal counsel and advice of all aspects of the business from a legal perspective with the objective of ensuring the business is aware of legal risks from legal contracts and relationships they entered into and ensuring Accor's business activities is in compliance with local and other applicable international laws.

Hotel Management/Franchise Agreements



Assist the business development team with closing the negotiations and documentation for procuring new management/franchise agreements Ensure corporate governance and regulatory compliances by the company Manage the joint venture relationship regulated by the terms of the joint venture agreement of the company Monitor and participate in the governance of step down investment companies created for hotel projects

Legal advice and support



Provide legal assistance in case of disputes with the hotel owners and ensure appropriate documentation to secure the interest of the company Manage interaction with the hotel owners for operating hotels on sensitive matters required legal intervention Provide support to the departments at the corporate office for concluding supplier arrangements Overall assist the General Managers in operating their business keeping in view common law and relevant documents signed with the hotel owner

Legal filing and compliance



Direct necessary filings and compliances of procedures prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 Interaction with various consultants in connection with the compliances required from a foreign investment and corporate governance perspective.

Other responsibilities



Manage inter-company transactions from time to time

Qualifications



Bachelor /Master Degree in Law Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience with 7 years in the hotel industry Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Knowledge of applicable laws required for the business of the company
