About Us
Bektash is one of Kochi's fastest-growing QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) chains, specializing in Indo-Arabic cuisine with a focus on shawarma, alfahm, and grilled specials. With multiple outlets and a central kitchen in Nettoor, we aim to scale to 20+ outlets by 2026. As we expand, we are looking for a visionary Corporate Chef to lead culinary operations, set kitchen standards, and innovate across our menu offerings.

Position Overview
As Corporate Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations across multiple outlets, with a key focus on:
Research & Development (R&D) of new recipes and product innovation
Process creation and standardization to ensure consistency
Team training and skill development
Raw material quality control and vendor alignment
Supporting cost efficiency and yield optimization
This is a strategic leadership role based out of our Central Kitchen in Nettoor, with regular visits to all outlets for quality and performance audits.

Key Responsibilities
New Product Development: Design, test, and launch new items suited for a fast-paced QSR environment.
Standardization: Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recipes, cooking processes, hygiene, plating, and storage.
Process Innovation: Identify and implement operational improvements in prep, cooking, and service.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks across outlets to ensure compliance with Bektash standards.
Inventory & Cost Control: Work with the purchase and operations team to manage food cost, portioning, and minimize waste.
Team Training: Mentor kitchen staff, conduct onboarding training for new chefs, and promote a culture of discipline and excellence.
Kitchen Equipment Oversight: Recommend equipment upgrades and ensure all kitchens are properly equipped for safe, efficient operations.
Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure all outlets adhere to FSSAI and local food safety regulations.

Requirements
8+ years of professional culinary experience, including experience as an Executive/Central Kitchen Chef
Proven experience in menu development and kitchen process optimization
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit QSR environment
Culinary degree or professional chef certification preferred
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kochi
