OUR IMPACT

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team sits within the Corporate and Workplace Solutions organization. The team's mission is to support the firm's 'One Goldman Sachs' strategy by proactively identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting key third party risks in order to enable and challenge the business's risk-based decision making processes.

TPRM's Data, Analytics & Reporting capability (DAR) is responsible for designing and providing a proactive interface of accurate and timely data that support both TPRM & the firm to drive commerciality while proactively managing risk. The remit of the DAR team covers data associated with all TPRM Programs - Non-Vendor Third Party, Vendor, Contingent Worker and Interaffiliate Service Provision. This crucial role plays an integral part in designing and delivering against program transformation initiatives aimed to balance commercial drivers, risk management principles and supervisory/regulatory expectations. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Support analytics and reporting requirements aligned to the firm's third party risks
  • Support and help lead aspects of regional initiatives and priorities, working with the regional management
  • Translate business third party risk reporting needs to technical specifications supporting dynamic reporting
  • Deliver qualitative analysis of integrated data sets that drives business engagement, commercial outcomes and operational efficiencies
  • Help build out the firm's automated risk analysis platforms facilitating third party risk decision-making for senior stakeholders
  • Help develop analysis tools that lead to reduce costs and increased operational productivity
  • Create and manage business intelligence and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge
  • Participate in business intelligence projects developed to analyze, project and report on firm's third party risk
  • Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders and help address queries related to business intelligence and analytics
  • Participate and support timely responses to regulators, Compliance and Internal Audit reviews related to third party risk management
  • Collaborate with team members, Infrastructure team, other stakeholders and external vendors to design, test and implement new solutions or enhancements to existing processes and systems
  • Drive projects for continuous process improvement and bring innovation into the team
  • Lead initiatives / projects from inception to completion
  • Communicate progress and decision points for projects to relevant functions and maintain key documentation of approvals where required
  • Coordinate input into firmwide transformation initiatives impacting (TPRM) Programs (e.g., Non-Vendor third party, vendor onboarding transformation, Contingent worker on-boarding transformation, Interaffiliate service provision etc.)
  • Engage, initiate, contribute and deliver on Regional expectations
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions
  • Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms
  • Create tools to store data
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Develop and update technical documentation
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience - required. Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
  • Relevant industry experience is preferred
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
  • Familiarity with BI technologies
  • Knowledge on Alteryx, Qliksense
  • Knowledge of SQL queries
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and SharePoint
  • Possess a strong risk management and control mindset linked with ability to support the delivery of commercial outcomes
  • Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required
  • Enhanced critical thinking and problem solving skills; agile thinker; collaboration skills; ability to be persuasive
  • Analytical and strategic thinker, able to problem solve creatively (i.e., able to quickly assess situations, multi-task and prioritize across numerous initiatives, and to make observations and linked recommendations)

  • Ability to link all program initiatives back to the overarching team strategy, including TPRM Mission & Operating Principles
