The Admission Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end student admission process, handling inquiries, guiding prospective students, and ensuring smooth onboarding. The role involves counselling, documentation, coordination, and achieving admission targets while maintaining excellent service standards.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Student Counselling & Lead Management
Handle walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective students and parents.
Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
Conduct counselling sessions and guide students to choose appropriate programs.
Maintain and follow up with leads through CRM / Excel to ensure conversion.
B. Admission Process
Explain course structure, timelines, and university/college policies.
Assist students with application forms, documentation, and fee payments.
Verify documents and ensure all records are accurate and complete.
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth admission processing.
C. Target Achievement
Meet monthly and annual admission/enrolment targets.
Support marketing campaigns and participate in admission drives, events, and educational fairs.
Convert leads from digital campaigns, social media, and referral sources.
D. Communication & Coordination
Maintain regular communication with students until onboarding.
Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inquiries, conversions, and admissions.
Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and external partners.
E. Compliance & Quality
Follow all admission policies and guidelines.
Ensure confidentiality of student data.
Provide feedback on student needs and market trends.
3. Qualifications & SkillsEducation
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Education Management preferred).
Experience
3-5 years of experience in counselling, admissions, customer service, or sales (education sector preferred).
Skills Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong convincing and counselling ability.
Good command of MS Office / CRM tools.
