Function background/context:

Citibank\xc2\xae payment applications are responsible for product processing and Risk management and credit management across Citi applications and corporate customer transaction processing. Different types of payments are processed in these applications with a daily transaction amount till $3Trillion. These applications also include data monitoring and analytics applications with payment dashboard and flexible reporting solutions.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a resource skilled in Payments domain and having domain expertise. Also This resource will work closely with business to understand the exact business requirement and design and implement robust as well as flexible designs. The candidate should have the capabilities to understand the complex Payments ecosystem and should be capable of future proof strategic functional solutions. The candidate should be well versed with the ISO 20022 Swift protocol.

The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business counterparts and understand the complex Payments ecosystem.
• Understanding of Swift MT and different Clearing formats is a must to design the right Solutions for the Payments ecosystem.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with the senior business leaders associated with the platform
• Understand the Business Requirements (specifically coming out of the ISO Message migration) and should articulate them into granular level of requirements.
• Work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to ensure right coverage of Functional test cases.
• Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
• Compliance with Citi\'s System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
• Monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential speed bumps and client\xe2\x80\x99s true concerns/needs.

Key Challenges:

• Managing time and changing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Ability to provide quick turnaround to software issues and management requests
• Ability to assimilate key issues and concepts and come up to speed quickly
• Coordinate with development activities at Citi and vendor location.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Competencies

• Relevant Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree from a reputed Educational Institute.
• Strong history of work experience in Payments Domain. (Typically 12+ years of experience)
• Strong hands on Leadership experience.
• Strong on different Payments concepts regarding processing, book-keeping, Accounting, messaging.
• Good understanding of Swift messaging protocol (MT and ISO20022)

Key Competencies:

• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Strong understanding of Payments domain and hands on IT experience in the area of Business Analysis in Payments.
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
• Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.
