Job Description

: As a CORE NETWORKING-WIFI specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing Ubiquiti and Cisco Meraki devices, deploying firewalls, and ensuring seamless connectivity. You will also monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement various networking protocols and technologies to maintain a secure and efficient network environment.
Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Ubiquiti EdgeRouters, UniFi switches, and Meraki MX routers, MS switches, and MR wireless access points.
• Deploy and maintain Meraki firewalls and Cisco routing/switching infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor network health and performance, identifying and resolving connectivity issues promptly.
• Implement and manage routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP for efficient network communication.
• Configure and optimize VLANs, QoS, STP, and inter-VLAN routing to enhance network efficiency and security.
• Utilize Meraki Dashboard and UniFi Controller for network monitoring, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
• Ensure network security by implementing and enforcing organizational policies and best practices.
• Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and maintain accurate documentation for network assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with business requirements and goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Ubiquiti, Meraki, and Cisco technologies.
• Expertise in Cisco Meraki products and cloud-managed networking solutions is essential.
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS commands and a solid understanding of Layer 2 technologies.
• Familiarity with VPN, VLAN, firewall configurations, and QoS implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, able to resolve complex network issues across diverse vendor environments.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) and Meraki CMNA certification are highly preferred.
• Ubiquiti certification (UEWA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to network management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
