Understanding loss run (claims data)/placement data in terms of data availability for analytical reporting Questioning data shortfalls with respective counterpart as required for analytical reporting Cleanse the raw data as per SOPs Automate processes using Python/SSIS Standardize the data sets so that they can be sliced/diced in any way required Use Power BI to create standard / bespoke models Using advanced excel features like slicers, nested formulae, macros to generate dynamic charts based on policy years and accordingly create macros to print those charts/graphs Create automated standard or customized templates to reduce manual errors as well as speed up the turnaround times

Qualifications

Creating dashboards using visualization tools (Power BI experience desirable) SQL (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) experience required Advanced excel including VBA Python working experience needed B.Com/B.Sc/B.Tech / Pursuing CII (added advantage) Excellent written & oral communication Ability to read & comprehend information well Good analytical skills Able to work within a team to high standards in tight timelines * Able to generate ideas or come up with logical solutions
