About the Role

• The JLL Technologies Product Engineering team aims to bring successful technology-based products to market in a high-growth environment. The team's mission is focused on accelerating technology adoption in commercial real estate by bringing creative, innovative and technical solutions to solve large, complex problems for our clients.
• Shape the future of real estate for a better world by contributing to the creation of globally scalable products used by JLL's client customers - the most respected brands in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with developers and product managers solve bugs
• Write effective, scalable code for our mobile and web applications on client and server side
• Write unit tests for mobile, client-side and server-side code
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Write technical documentation
• Write reports using Jasper
• Write code to integrate with third party systems

Experience & Education

• 5+ years of work experience as Java/J2EE Developer.
• 5+ years of Apache Cordova
• Experience in MySQL/Oracle databases.
• Experience in Apache Tomcat.
• Experience in Jasper Reports.
• Experience in Web Technologies - HTML, JS, CSS, Velocity Templating framework or similar frameworks.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

Technical Skills & Competencies.

• Strong OOP skills
• SQL
• Quartz Scheduler
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in native Android/iOS development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Jenkins is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python/Django is a plus.
• Exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
• Code deployment experience to different environments is a plus.
