Job Description

Your role We are hiring a talented Junior Copywriter to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will take on the writing and proofing of marketing collateral, including social media copy, blogs, video scripts, email campaigns, brochures, webpage content, and other key content deliverables. Our ideal candidate has experience in creative content production and is a self-starter with strong writing skills and a proven track record of producing polished written content to engage and resonate with viewers and be informative for our target audience. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines. The role will report into the Global Marketing Director, located in Halifax.What you'll be doing

• Write clear and concise copy that resonates with our target audience, and which is distributed across various platforms and mediums.
• Proofread and edit various forms of copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality work.
• Creating compelling copy for both digital and print collateral, including but not limited to blog articles, webpage content creation, email campaign writing, video script production, promotional text for online and journal ads, and more.
• Ghostwriting for a range of other Corpay subject matter experts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to produce high quality content.
• Produce in-house-facing content such as weekly marketing wrap-ups, marketing department updates and accomplishments, internal-interest interviews, and more.
• Submit well-structured drafts to senior copywriters and editors within deadlines.

• Proven work experience producing engaging written content
• Editorial mindset with the ability to adhere to audience preferences
• Expertise in generating content for a variety of channels and mediums

• Ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
• Experience working with global, non-domestic brands is preferred
• Experience working in financial services is preferred
• Solid time-management skills and ability to successfully work independently
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Continuous learning and knowledge application regarding business aspects
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
• University degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a copywriter or similar role
• Proficiency in MS Office
• A portfolio of work showing copywriting samples of relevant work
