As a News Copy Editor:

Write, edit, and proofread news scripts for digital broadcasts Ensure content accuracy, clarity, grammar, and fact-checking Rewrite agency copies and reporter inputs for digital presentation Coordinate with video editors, reporters, and the editorial team Maintain consistency in tone, style, and storytelling

Required Skills & Qualifications

Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong command over

Good understanding of news writing formats and digital journalism Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom Knowledge of current affairs, trending topics, and real-time news Basic camera confidence & on-screen skills Experience in news media, editing, or anchoring is preferred
