Job Responsibilities:

To check text to ensure it is well written, logically structured and in the right style for the intended audience with correct grammar and spelling Conduct extensive research and interviews to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date Proofread text and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to feedback from writers or creative persons Engage readers with informative, entertaining, and educational copy To ensure the text is in line with the client's requirements Check facts and raise queries with the author STM Books editing background Knowledge of all reference styles (e.g., AMA, APA, Vancouver). Good hold on English

Candidate profile:

Graduation in English, Publishing, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field 3+ years of copy editing experience preferred, 2 years in Books Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language Ability to remain detailed-oriented and focused when processing large amounts of text

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
