Key Responsibilities

Review and edit manuscripts for grammar, language, clarity, consistency, and formatting Ensure adherence to client style guides and internal editorial standards Apply basic style rules (APA/AMA/Vancouver - training provided) Check terminology, references, captions, and units for accuracy Perform quality checks before final submission Coordinate with senior editors and production teams to meet deadlines Update trackers and follow assigned workflows Learn and use editorial tools and publishing systems

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, or any discipline with strong English skills Excellent command of written English and grammar Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to learn style guides and editorial processes quickly Basic awareness of UK and US English differences is a plus Good time-management and deadline-handling skills Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow in an editorial career
