Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Copper Plant Operation Manager to join our team at DCS Group. As the Copper Plant Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation and management of the copper plant. This includes ensuring the smooth running of all plant processes, maintaining operational efficiency, and implementing effective strategies to optimize production.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in copper plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Proven track record of successfully managing copper plant operations and achieving production targets
• Strong knowledge of copper plant processes, equipment, and maintenance
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in plant operations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the copper plant operations to ensure smooth running and achieve production targets
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and optimize production
• Coordinate and manage the workflow, resources, and equipment to meet production schedules
• Monitor and analyze plant performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the plant
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational issues and implement process improvements
• Manage and develop a team of plant personnel, including training, performance evaluation, and mentoring
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Monitor and manage plant budgets and expenses to meet financial targets
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
