Academic Leadership: Provide strong academic leadership for the department, ensuring the curriculum is aligned with CBSE guidelines and updated with the latest educational changes.
Staff Management: Lead, manage, and motivate departmental staff, fostering a positive and effective working environment to enhance student education.
Curriculum & Assessment: Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum, monitor student performance, and ensure timely and effective assessment of students' written work and home assignments.
Student Support: Work with pastoral staff to support the academic and emotional development of students, providing necessary support for success.
Discipline: Maintain discipline among students and staff within the department, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
Co-curricular Activities: Organize and coordinate various co-curricular activities to promote holistic student development.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with senior management, parents, and other relevant stakeholders.
Record Keeping: Ensure accurate records and reports are maintained, including attendance and student progress reports.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Any Graduate and a B.Ed. certification. Mandatory
Experience: Possess significant experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
CBSE Knowledge: Be familiar with the CBSE syllabus, affiliation process, and board requirements.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Principal or Head of School.
