The EDP Coordinator will support the implementation of APD's Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Working closely with the Sr. Manager - EDP and community stakeholders, the Coordinator will be responsible for networking and liaising with like-minded organizations, government instruments, NGOs, institutions, and community networks to identify eligible beneficiaries for the program.
The role will guide and train beneficiaries in entrepreneurship by delivering training modules, conducting practical sessions, and mentoring them in developing viable business models. The Coordinator will also facilitate linkages to government schemes, financial institutions, markets, raw material suppliers, and machinery providers to ensure the right beneficiaries are empowered to start and sustain their enterprises. Documentation and reporting will be integral responsibilities of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Network and liaise with government bodies, NGOs, institutions, and community stakeholders to identify eligible beneficiaries.
Mobilize and screen candidates as per program criteria for entrepreneurship development.
Deliver training modules and conduct practical sessions to prepare beneficiaries for entrepreneurship.
Guide entrepreneurs in developing, testing, and refining business models.
Provide one-on-one mentoring and handholding support throughout the entrepreneurial journey.
Facilitate linkages to government schemes, credit institutions, and subsidy programs.
Support access to raw materials, machinery, market linkages, and buyers for entrepreneurs.
Collaborate with the Sr. Manager - EDP to ensure program quality and goal achievement.
Maintain accurate documentation of training, beneficiary progress, and linkage outcomes.
Prepare timely reports, dashboards, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in organizing exposure visits, workshops, and entrepreneurship events
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW), Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in entrepreneurship development, livelihood promotion, or community-based programs.
Experience in training, mentoring, and business model development.
Fluency in local language(s) with working proficiency in English.
Working knowledge of MS Office and data management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Persons with Disabilities or marginalized communities.
Familiarity with government schemes, credit institutions, and micro/small enterprise promotion.
Exposure to CSR, NGO, or livelihood-linked entrepreneurship initiatives.
