Role Overview



We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Software Services & Integration team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build a career in software engineering while contributing to real-world projects. You will be involved in developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that integrate with Qualitrol's advanced monitoring products and cloud-based analytics platforms.



Key Responsibilities



Develop and maintain software features for desktop, web, and/or cloud-based applications.



Work with senior engineers to design, implement, test, and debug code.



Support integration between software and Qualitrol hardware systems (e.g., SmartSub, AIView, Grid-Assist).



Write clear technical documentation for code, APIs, and workflows.



Contribute to automated testing efforts to ensure product quality.



Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, data engineering, and product management.



Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.



Solid understanding of programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming).



Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Python, C#, or JavaScript.



Familiarity with version control (Git).



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.



Experience with web development frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).



Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.



Interest in IoT, data analytics, or industrial monitoring solutions.
