Job Description

he Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, hygienic, and timely meals for beneficiaries or staff as per the approved menu. The role ensures cleanliness, safe food handling, and efficient management of kitchen resources.

A. Meal Preparation



Prepare breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to the daily/weekly menu. Ensure all meals are cooked hygienically and meet nutritional standards. Adjust meals based on dietary requirements (children, elderly, sick beneficiaries, etc.).

B. Kitchen Management



Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, cooking area, and dining space. Ensure proper storage of vegetables, grains, spices, and perishable items. Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about required supplies.

C. Food Safety & Hygiene



Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Ensure safe handling of kitchen equipment and gas/electrical appliances. Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness during working hours.

D. Resource Management



Minimize food wastage while maintaining quality. Use resources (water, fuel, ingredients) efficiently. Track consumption of raw materials and maintain basic records if required

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
