We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and hygiene-conscious Vegetarian Home Cook to manage the daily meal requirements for our household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and flavorful breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring a variety of cuisines and a focus on healthy eating.
Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation: Cook fresh, delicious vegetarian meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) according to the household's preferences.
Menu Planning: Plan weekly menus in consultation with the family to ensure variety and nutritional balance.
Kitchen Management: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning stovetops, countertops, and washing utensils used for cooking.
Grocery Management: Monitor pantry inventory and provide a list of necessary ingredients or handle grocery shopping (if required).
Food Safety: Ensure all ingredients are washed thoroughly and stored correctly; maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the cooking process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Culinary Expertise: Proficiency in diverse vegetarian cuisines (e.g., North/South Indian, Continental, Mediterranean, or Asian vegetarian dishes).
Experience: Previous experience working in private households or the hospitality industry is preferred.
Special Dietary Knowledge: Ability to adapt recipes for specific needs (e.g., low oil, gluten-free, high protein, or Jain cooking) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Punctuality, honesty, and a respectful attitude toward household privacy.
