We are looking for a skilled and responsible Chef to lead our vegetarian cafe kitchen. The candidate will manage a team of 5, ensure smooth daily operations, maintain food quality, and handle orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of 5 kitchen staff (cooks and helpers).
Prepare and pass orders timely while coordinating with the service team.
Follow daily kitchen checklists for preparation, hygiene, and closing.
Maintain consistency, taste, and presentation of all pure vegetarian dishes.
Ensure staff food is prepared daily.
Keep track of kitchen stock and inform management of requirements.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Train and guide the kitchen team for better efficiency and teamwork.
Assist with menu planning and suggest new vegetarian dish ideas.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef or Head Cook, preferably in a vegetarian cafe or restaurant.
Strong leadership and multitasking skills.
Ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy hours.
Good understanding of vegetarian ingredients and cooking techniques.
Work Environment:
Full-time position at a pure vegetarian cafe.
