Responsibilities:- \xe2\x96\xa0Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment \xe2\x96\xa0Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) \xe2\x96\xa0Cook food in various utensils or grillers Check food while cooking to stir or turn \xe2\x96\xa0Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served \xe2\x96\xa0Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen \xe2\x96\xa0Ensure all food and other items are stored properly \xe2\x96\xa0Check quality of ingredients \xe2\x96\xa0Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages \xe2\x96\xa0Requirements and skills Proven experience as cook \xe2\x96\xa0Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware \xe2\x96\xa0Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) \xe2\x96\xa0Ability to follow all sanitation procedures \xe2\x96\xa0Ability to work in a team Very good \xe2\x96\xa0communication skills Excellent physical \xe2\x96\xa0condition and stamina High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage guidelines laid out in quality control standards and state and local regulations.
