The Cook / Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items in accordance with the restaurant's standards. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items as per recipes and quality standards
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times (following food safety regulations)
Assist in daily food preparation, cutting, marination, and cooking
Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and report shortages
Support the Head Chef in menu planning and special promotions
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent dining experiences
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Cook / Chef (Multi / Indian / tandoor/ Chinese / italian cuisine experience preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
