We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items to the highest standards, while ensuring kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items as per the menu and recipe standards.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Follow food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation guidelines.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and support smooth food preparation.
Handle equipment, tools, and utensils safely and responsibly.
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and minimizing food waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or similar role.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Culinary training or certification is a plus.
Minimum 1-3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
Work Environment
Fast-paced kitchen environment.
Standing for long hours.
Handling hot equipment, sharp tools, and kitchen machinery.
