Prepare hygienic and homely meals for the Director, as per the planned daily menu and dietary preferences.
Ensure timely breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner preparation (as per requirement).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking area at all times.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of kitchen ingredients, vegetables, and groceries.
Keep track of kitchen inventory and report requirements for fresh supplies to the admin office.
Wash utensils, clean stove and counters, and maintain a pest-free cooking environment.
Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of food meets expected standards.
Be respectful, disciplined, and maintain confidentiality of personal kitchen affairs.
Cooperate during school events or guest visits requiring additional food arrangements.
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols strictly.
Requirements
:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a cook in a school, institutional, or domestic setup.
Must be skilled in cooking vegetarian Indian meals (knowledge of light snacks/tea preferred).
Should be clean, disciplined, and trustworthy.
Able to handle the kitchen independently without supervision.
Should maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
Willing to work extended hours during special occasions when needed.
